What is the "AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching" Funding Programme?
To promote digital education in Hong Kong primary and secondary schools, the Education Bureau has earmarked HK$2 billion from the Quality Education Fund to support publicly-funded schools in leveraging AI to enhance learning and teaching effectiveness.

Funding Requirements
Participating schools must complete the following during the programme period:
School Development Plan
Include "Developing AI-empowered Education" in school development and/or annual plans
3+ Subjects with AI
Implement AI-assisted teaching in at least 3 subjects (each covering 2+ levels), develop 6+ AI teaching examples
3+ Open/Demo Lessons
Conduct at least 3 open or demonstration lessons using AI-assisted teaching across 3+ subjects
3+ Sharing Sessions
Organize at least 3 AI teaching experience sharing sessions (internal or external)
2+ Student Activities
Organize or arrange at least 2 activities focused on enhancing students' AI literacy and skills
